Syria Daily: Rising in Covid 19 Cases in Northwest Syria

A. Regime-held Territory

Regime forces shelled the besieged neighborhoods of Dara Al Balad on Friday night. There were no reports of casualties.

B. HTS-held Northwest Syria (Idlib, Western Hama, Northern Latakia, western Aleppo)

Syria Response Team; a humanitarian activists network, reported rising in Covid 19 cases in northwest Syria. The team said that 991 cases were reported on Friday, 415 of them were in the area of Harem alone.

On the other hand, Russian warplanes bombed the villages of Al Bara, Ayn Larouz and Al Mozara in Jabal Al Zawya. The bombing left damage in the infrastructure but no human casualties were reported.

C. SDF-held Northeast Syria (Most of Raqqa and Hasaka, part of Deir Ezzor, parts of Aleppo: Manbij, Ayn Al Arab\Kobani, Tal Rifa’at.)

Fire broke out in the Al Hol refugee camp in southeast Hasaka. Opposition media sources said 28 tents were burnt up and an unspecified number of women and children were wounded.

On the other hand, the people of Abu Hamam village in the east of Deir Ezzor demonstrated against SDF and the American forces, calling for the release of prisoners from their village and the Shaytat area who are in SDF prisons.
