Syria Daily: Russian Warplanes Bomb Villages in Idlib

Monday, September 6, 2021

A. Regime-held Territory

Regime forces fired rockets and heavy artillery on Sunday evening on the besieged neighborhoods in the city of Dara. Three civilians were reported killed.

B. HTS-held Northwest Syria (Idlib, Western Hama, Northern Latakia, western Aleppo)

Russian warplanes bombed the villages of Ihsem, Kansafra, Ayn Larouz and Al Fattiri in the south of Idlib. There were no human casualties, but the strike on Ihsem coincided with the passing of two Turkish armored vehicles in the area.

C. Turkish Influence Territory (Afrin, Azaz, Al Bab, Jarablus, Tal Abyad, Ras Al Ayn)

Two fires erupted in the village of Tarhin near the Al Bab city. The fires were caused by the crude oil refineries that are being operated in the area. The two fired left big damage in the infrastructure.

D. SDF-held Northeast Syria (Most of Raqqa and Hasaka, part of Deir Ezzor, parts of Aleppo: Manbij, Ayn Al Arab/Kobani, Tal Rifa’at.)

One SDF element was assassinated on Monday in the village of Daranj in the east of Deir Ezzor. Activists put the blame on ISIS’ sleeper cells for the attack.
On the other hand, one SDF commander was wounded yesterday in an IED explosion that targeted his car near the village of Markada in the south of Hasaka.
