Syria Daily: Turkish Jandarma kill a Child in Atmeh Camp

A. Regime-held Territory

Sweda’a: Local opposition parties held a conference in the city of Sweda’a on Sunday. The attendees put the blame on the regime for the security incidents that are taking place in their city. They also held the regime responsible for the miserable life conditions in the regime-held areas of Syria. The conference called for the departure of the regime and for putting an end to the Iranian influence in Sweda’a and Dara’a.

B. HTS-held Northwest Syria (Idlib, Western Hama, Northern Latakia, western Aleppo)

In a new hike of Covid 19 infections, the opposition announced that 835 new cases were registered on Sunday, with a total of 30604 cases in the west of Syria.

Idlib: On the other hand, one child was killed by the Turkish Jandarma border guards in the village of Atmeh on the border with Turkey. The child was moving between the tents of the famous refugee camp in the village when he was shot dead by a Turkish sniper.
Another civilian was reported killed in a landmine explosion near the village of Al Bara in Jabal Al Zawya.

C. Turkish Influence Territory (Afrin, Azaz, Al Bab, Jarablus, Tal Abyad, Ras Al Ayn)

Afrin: Local villagers found the dead body of a 45 years old man from the village of Kandi Mazan in Ma’abatli area. The body was tied up and there were traces of torture on it.

Azaz: Seven civilians were wounded in a car bomb explosion in the west of the city. The explosion left huge damage in the vehicles and infrastructure in the targeted area.

Ras Al Ayn: Fighting erupted between members from the SNA and the local police in the city of Ras Al Ayn. About 14 elements from both sides were wounded. Some of the wounded were taken to hospitals inside Turkey for treatment. Fighting stopped after the intervention of the Turkish army.

D. SDF-held Northeast Syria (Most of Raqqa and Hasaka, part of Deir Ezzor, parts of Aleppo: Manbij, Ayn Al Arab\Kobani, Tal Rifa’at.)

Hasaka: SDF kidnapped two underage children in the city of Al Qamishli for the sake of forced conscription.
On the other hand, the international coalition announced that one of its warplanes downed an unidentified drone that entered the coalition work zone in the east of Syria.
