Syria Daily:  Regime’s Defense Minister Arrives Dara

A. General Syria News

The Syrian government announced the start of registration for heating fuel for next winter via the smart card service. The government said it will give 50 liters of heating fuel for each family on each registration, coming down from 100 liters it distributed to each family on each registration last year.

B. Regime-held Territory

The regime’s defense minister Ali Ayoub arrived in Dara on Monday amid failed attempts by the regime’s army to storm the rebel-held besieged neighborhoods. Fierce fighting was reported between rebels and elements from the regime’s Fourth Division elite forces. Regime forces shelled the besieged neighborhoods with tanks and heavy machine guns. There were no reports of casualties.

C. HTS-held Northwest Syria (Idlib, Western Hama, Northern Latakia, western Aleppo)

Regime forces fired rockets and heavy artillery on rebel-held territories in southern Idlib and western Aleppo. There were no reports of casualties.

D. Turkish Influence Territory (Afrin, Azaz, Al Bab, Jarablus, Tal Abyad, Ras Al Ayn)

Management of Bab Al Salamah border gate with Turkey issued a new decision which requires Syrian officials in local councils in northern Aleppo to have Syrian passports to be able to move between Syria and Turkey through the border gate. The management gave the officials a three weeks period to change their pass IDs issued by the Turkish government to Syrian passports.

E. SDF-held Northeast Syria (Most of Raqqa and Hasaka, part of Deir Ezzor, parts of Aleppo: Manbij, Ayn Al Arab\Kobani, Tal Rifa’at.)

One man was killed by an explosion of a war remnant bomb in Ayn Issa in the north of Raqqa. SDF-held areas are reported to be full of such explosive remnants in fields and open areas.
